Editorial Standards
How CIRRAC handles reporting, sourcing and corrections
These standards support reader trust and help show that the website is a real editorial property rather than a thin content site.
Sourcing
- We prefer primary sources such as official announcements, direct statements and clearly attributed reports.
- Where information is developing, we label it clearly and update the page when facts change.
- Opinion or tactical analysis is distinguished from factual reporting.
Corrections
- Material factual errors should be corrected promptly.
- Substantive corrections should be noted on the affected page where practical.
- Readers can request corrections via the contact details on the Contact page.
